i know this is just a basic game but tit has a glitch that if you click the shut down button multiple times you can make the end cutsene appear very time you click it and it even works after a few hours after beating the game
but either ways its a 9/10 tho it is very hard but thats the point i guess
Great game! One bug I found was that when changing the password, I got all the right answers but left the new password field blank, and I couldn't change the password again. Other than that, great idea, congrats on top 100!
the game was very fun to play! reminds me the point and click adventures looking for clues - very fun. i was also very delighted to see the font i designed appear in this game! (yes, i made the funny Impostor font) congratulations on appearing in the GMTK featured video!
i really enjoyed playing this game! the puzzles were fun and unique, and it had a good story and length. i do wish the font would be easier to read, since i confused the symbols S, 6, 9, and 8 a lot.
game window size doesn't work with the new samsung oddesy g9. you can't see the settings or the trashcan, since there is no options i can't even try to fix it myself
This game was neat! The art, concept, and humour in this game is great. It might be cool to see a longer and more polished version, I could totally see this game having more levels.
Also, speedrun times! Full run: 2:13.45 cutscene 1: 58.83 cutscene final : 11.45 Doing the math, IGT is 1min, 4 sec. Please somebody beat this, I don't wanna hold the record!
Ending cutscene will always be the same, but here's my times again. MASSIVE DECREASE! 1:36.17 full time, 58.71 cutscene (1) (no point in timing last) and IGT is 34 seconds, ruffly. GGs
couldnt get past the reset password thing on chrome bc it kept saying that its incorrect even though I checked whether it was right and I know for sure it was
Fun game, found a bug tho. If you leave your mouse over the shut down bank account button, you can press it over and over again to repeat the animation. To be clear: I'm just notifying you of the bug, but I love the game.
I had to look into the games source code to find the correct answer, because the font is absolute garbage to read. Would recommend if the font was better.
I get that this game is trying to do something in a style of detective game like Hypnospace but honestly, puzzles feel kinda weird. It doesn't feel like there's any real challenge to them - basically it's like a place in the game asks you to input a word, and you find it elsewhere stated explicitly.
There is no real lateral thinking required, you just do what you're told to, going through the motions.
Like personally I found that to make a deduction puzzle, player should be forced to make a connection that isn't explicitly stated in the game. Hypnospace does it, Obra Dinn does it, every good detective game does it. Like, you're given a hint 1, a hint 2, and you have to make the connection between them yourself using real life knowledge.
The closest thing to lateral thinking is the childhood pet puzzle, but even then it feels bit too easy. You shouldn't be afraid to challenge the player a little bit, especially since you have a hint system.
The writing is decent enough because it's sorta funny. It's not amazing, like laugh out loud funny, but it's okay, and it really salvages the game.
